Thanks, Brad. I think we do need you stepping in. Not that I get all that much
mail from the group, but it's a bother when it's a repeat or a spam attack.

Subject: moderated messages

I've decided to activate the "moderater" feature on posting messages.
Most people recieve all the postings as e-mails (you can change this
under the options feature) and there have been a few instances of
people joining the group, posting a "spam" message (e.g. "earn $$$$$
on the internet") and then leaving, or of inadvertantly posting a
message twice. I intend to check daily for any new messages, and to
approve all messages except those that are obviously off-topic or
which the poster sends by mistake and asks me to delete. I'm not
going to institute any kind of censorship, messages which express
disagreement with something already posted will still be approved.

Let me know if you have any strong opinions on this, I'm kind of doing
this on a trial basis, and hoping it doesn't impede discussion.

Brad
