| I also have miyoshi myopathy. I am 57 and for the last 28 years I have been walking with knees hyperextended to keep my balance. I have been having pretty bad knee pain for the last couple of years. Anti-inflammatories work fairly well and I am careful not to sit for very long. I get up and walk around a bit every hour.
