I came
across the
following
trial of
the
steroid
Deflazacort
which is
being
investigated
in Germany
in patients with dysferlin deficiency. Deflazacort is also being
studied in Duchenne MD as an alternative to Prednisone which it is
hoped will have fewer side effects. The listing appears on the
website below--I haven't been able to find any details on the protocol
or on when the trial is occurring.
