Hi lisa I Never heard of that but when I got fitted for leg braces the doctor did suggest shoes with a wide back to help with balance, and an almost square front he did say new balance are probably the best for this situation.  Hope this helps and if you get any more input on the dictus band let me know bye

Hello!

My name is Lisa and I have LGMD 2B. I have problem finding comfortable shoes and I wonder if someone else have experienced the same problem? I can still walk, but it's really difficult if I wear wrong shoes. I have brought a couple of expensive shoes which have seemed right, but when I started using them they have not worked. According to my physiotherapist and orthopaedist I have very short heel-strings, this is remarkable because I can't wear shoes with high heels. I need shoes which are very low and I have only one pair of walking shoes which are comfortable and they are ragged and out-of-date now. Is anyone familiar with Dictus band?
