Re: [dysferlin] New Member

No doubt -- to your point about exercise.  It is good for the body.  I would also say that good nutrition is vital.  I'm talking about almost completely doing away with processed foods.  It has, over time been extremely impact on my life & health & function.

As a matter of fact: we are striving to be as organic as possible, and have witnessed benefits.

Does anybody else have any thoughts about organic foods?

Hi.......Just got this link from the Jain Foundation. Have enjoyed reading your postings.
I was diagnosed 20 some years ago with Limb-girdle when they weren't sure what you had.
By great luck I was able to participate in the Genome Program at NIH in 04 for a definitive diagnosis of MM 2B...and a free trip to DC.
I've tried to stay active in gathering as much information/participation with my disease.
Vitamins and nutrition have played a very large roll along with massage and chiro back when it was affordable. Finding the right exercise has been a jouney; anyway, thanx soo much for the site.
