Re: help

I have found gentle exercise very helpful (esp. swimming). I have been
surprised at how much I can do. I think the muscles that are ok are in
better shape now and are helping to compensate for those that are
struggling. Also a general good level of health and fitness makes
anyone feel better I think. I feel that I have more energy now.
Stretching exercises are also good - gentle yoga - helps me to feel
more flexible and less stiff and achey. I've been given some
physiotherapy exercises to do by the specialists which are beneficial
definitely although I must admit I find it hard to motivate myself to
do them as much as I should (they're a bit boring). The specialists
have also sorted me out with some moulded insoles for my shoes which
are helping my posture and balance, and I have found that wearing
boots with ankle support (e.g. boxing boots) as opposed to just normal
low cut shoes/trainers also makes a big difference. Hope that gives
you some ideas :o)

Best wishes and good luck,
Bex.
