I am very glad I found this group about dysferlin.
I have allready tried to post a message after becoming a member but I
am not sure if it worked out ok because I don't see it.
I am 52 years old and started having problems about 7 years ago.
Not being able to stand on my toes was the first thing and then I
noticed that my calf muscles were shrinking.
My CK is 3800 and there is absent of Dysferlin.
The diagnose was Miyoshi Distale Myopathie (that is the Dutch
prenaunciation for it).
I hope I will find more about this muscle disease on Internet, because
it is so very rare and I would like to know what to expect.
