Myostatin Clinical Trial   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #116 of 592 |

Hello everyone. Just wanted to share that on February 17, 2005 I
became the first human to (hopefully ) receive the drug myostatin.
This is supposed to be a miracle drug that will grow muscle and
possibly reduce fat (at least this was the case with the mice). I
say hopefully about the drug because this is a clinical trial which
means that I could be receiving the actual drug in various dosages or
a placebo.

The trial runs for a total of nine months with six months of IV drug
infusion and then a three month post treatment follow up. And yes I
am being seen at the world renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in
Baltimore, MD.

Let's all hope and pray that this is IT. Something to improve the
lives of so many deserving people. As I learn more I will inform
you.
