Hello everyone,

 

I know this has been discussed before that some of you out there have, or have a child with both Duanes and some hearing loss.  I'm curious what your doctors have said about it.  My daughter has bilateral duanes but much worse in her left eye - and was just diagnosed with some hearing loss in her right ear.  This seems to have alarmed my pediatrician and I am now freaking out that there is something else going on with her.  They talked about sending her to a neurologist but we are starting with an ENT that specializes in sensory neural hearing loss.  My daugher may have some speech and language delays but is otherwise a very "normal" 3 year old.  I think I'm looking for reassurance that this Duane's and hearing loss isn't so out of the ordinary as many might think.....but if it is...I need to know that too.  Thanks for any input!
