Hello,
last week I have been to the local university hospital in order to get an
opionion whether I should consider surgery. I had two when I was a small child.
They recommended MRR and I asked them about VRT. The anwer was that they would
do it only if "there is nothing else that they can do". Instead they
recommended MRR but told me, that it is not necessary but could help to reduce
my head-turn.
So my question is: I am 43. Are there any others at this age in the group
with experience in MRR or VRT?
Finally, the doctors told me that I have a beginning cataract in my Duanes eye
(right eye). 43 is extremely early, the usual causes like diabetes, intake of
cortison, etc. don't apply. So here is the next question: could it be because
of Duanes? Any others at my age with a similar phenomenon?
