Hi there, I am 25 and I have only just been diagosed with Duane's
because my head has turned to compensate for the lack of movement in
my eye. I have been told by an opthamologist that an operation would
not help, but I am desperate because it has made me so self concious.
I would ask for an MRI scan to check for the missing nerve, then try
and find an eye specialist. I have an appiontment with the
opthamologist in January and they will give me the verdict on whether
I can have an operation, but I was told not to get my hopes up.
