I have heard of the hemoglobin dropping to 4 after one afternoon of jogging for a civilian helper in Iraq. He now lives in Valdez, Alaska, and also came down with NHL. I think 2-butoxyethanol exposure would have caused the both of them
Thoughts shared with Don ... twice in remission for NHL, and then hemoglobin starts to noticeably drop

Do you have FATIGUE such as in the chronic fatigue syndromes ...& tests seem all normal? ... Could the RDW of red blood cells point out 'approaching' autoimmune hemolytic anemia? - which is what exposure to 2-butoxyethanol causes
What is the RDW?
It means Red cell mean diameter and width index. It has no significance in this case unless there is a chronic anemia and there would be significant changes in the hemogram, if it were of significance. Dr. REG
Of course this is what doctors think. And yet, many times this anemia MUST be there, and not showing up as doctors expect. SO, what is the fatigue doctors are looking for in CFIDS? ... CFS? FM? If liver tests ... tests for kidney function are done manually - not by computer - is there a different result ?
I think 2-butoxyethanol exposure is the best match for cause of 'gulf war syndrome' and CFIDS ... and the fatigue it causes, that doctors are looking for, is the proof
AIHA or IMHA http://valdezlink.com/pages/jaundiceandfatigue.htm
with the 'pattern' of CFIDS odd assortment of symptoms and many autoimmune issues as well
