but we are so delighted with the news that i jus had to share it with everyone

today, we went in for a ct scan on dianes chest an abdomen to see how the tumor had responded to the radiation treatment an the chemo treatment thus far

even thou diane has completed the intense an aggressive radiation she hasnt completed the chemo

next monday she goes in for her next round of chemo an after that she only has one round left

 

her doctor called later today after we got home with some FANTASTIC news

thou i didnt listen in on the call

diane told me that her doctor said that the tumor was almost all gone

considering what it was at its peak

this is incredible news

her tumor was described as 'huge' by the radiologists giving her the treatments

i got to see all of her xrays, mri's an ct scans i saw it for myself

what size it was an how it had grown

how it was effecting her

an now

its almost gone

this is nothing short of a miracle

 

diane started crying

 

thou she is still realing from the effects of radiation an chemo treatments an she has been laid up for over three months

its gonna take a while before she is back to her old self again

i would venture to say

maybe late october

she needs to do some stretching an some light exercising

an she still has appetite issues, hydrating issues, energy issues and taste bud issues

she still needs to have a high calorie an high protein diet to beef up

but

i think she is gonna make it

 

so to all of you that prayed for her

sent cards n flowers

called, came by to see her in the hospital an here at our house

i thank you

tommorrow i go to ortho an i will probably be settin up a surgery date for my shoulder

so i will be takin another vacation from the internet again sometime soon
