I was just thinking that President Eisenhower would have had to have had exposure to this chemical as well ... & looked up his health issues:
Eisenhower's episodes of gastrointestinal problems which seemed to come about without any apparent cause, resulting in sever stomach cramps, that plagued him throughout most of his adult life
And look what they called diarrhea:
-
an immediate explosive evacuation of the intestines
-
What did President Eisenhower's doctors call ' the runs?'
(what we call diarrhea)
-
What else did he have? Crohn's disease
-
Heart issues (this chemical also can cause heart damage/ lipid changes)
I also noticed that he trained soldiers in WWI, so didn't see action the way he would have preferred; however, he could have been near the action &/or around others who were ... and been exposed to these kinds of chemicals 'second hand'
Coming down with Crohn's in the 1920s ... is getting an autoimmune issue that would follow. Pres FDR came dodwn with an autoimmune attacking of the Central Nervous System in 1921 (not Polio) as is widely suspected
CIPD is the chronic version of what Pres FDR had
