DRUGS-HR is a harm reduction support group for people who use street drugs or prescription drugs. DRUGS-HR is based on the principles of HAMS (Harm reduction, Abstinence and Moderation Support). We support every positive change. We support each individual in their choice of a drug use goal, whether that goal is safer use, reduced use, or quitting. Harm reduction does not attempt to force people to change in ways which they do not choose for themselves. Harm reduction is a compassionate approach whose primary concern is the increased well-being of its constituency.
