Hi Michelle,
I live alone, so my meals are rarely the sit down at the table...
mostly sit down in front of the computer or TV, but I love going out
to eat with friends and family and am able to now eat just about
anything, but try to avoid refined carbs, like bread or candy etc.,
and am only able to eat a small amount of dense meat like BBQ pork
strips. I can eat about 4-5 of those before feeling full. The denser
the food, the faster I am full. The only thing that people notice
when I am eating out with friends or family is that I don't eat much
and have a nice take home box.
I work nights and on my way home this morning I stopped at a 24
hour Mexican Resturant and ordered Carne asada plate..... small cubes
of steak with rice and refried beans. I was able to eat about 1/4 cup
of the meat and a few bites of the rice and beans....FULL. I love my
VSG. The best thing I ever did for myself.
