My daughter Mélissa (16) will have a VSG on 3 july. Under the french
law a teen under 18 cant have bariatric surgery and here in Tahiti we
have only banding procedure, that's why I solicit (not sure the right
word)the experience of Dr JOYA in Mexico
I had a a VSG in New Zealand the day of my 49 birthday (i'm now 51) and
I can say that is the best thing I have done in my life. Before VSG I
had a gastric band done in Tahiti, finishing with an emergency and very
painfull laparotomy to put off the band before stomach failure. It was
a very bad experience and I regain weight very quickly. So I support
each people who trust in bariatric surgery in spite of my first bad
experience.
I come in this place to share experience of people with teenager
