Hi all.. just letting you know that I am down to 176lbs.... which is puts me at 3lbs away from a normal weight for my 5'10 frame.  It has been a pretty easy ride mostly.  I love being able to shop in the regular section of the clothing stores and even having to go down to a size 10 in some clothes. 

 

I had the gastric sleeve in March 08 and was at 152lbs.  So I've lost 75lbs in six months.

 

There are many people I have ran into that don't recognize me.  I have to tell them who I am... and then they are completely shocked.

 

For anyone contemplating the surgery, I can not recommend it enough.  I had a failed surgery with the band and definitely wouldn't recommend that to anyone.  However, the sleeve has been a phenominal tool in helping me achieve a healthy weight.
