Although Dr. Jon (a pen name for Stewart Fason) owned two medical clinics in Southern Florida in the 80's, he is not a medical doctor. His doctorate is in law (LL.D). Thousands of hours side by side with the physicians plus a dedication to alternative medicine produced a very knowledgable man. The original Dr. Jon was the late James Marion Brooks, a graduate of SMU and then post graduate at Baylor. In 1996 when leukemia rendered him incapable of writing this letter (originally in print form), he asked Stewart, his old friend and fraternity brother, to continue.

For years the F.D.A. and other gestapo-like agencies tried to find something actionable in the medical field. They failed but were determined. In 2003 they indicted Stewart for tax evasion from 1988. He got two years and was released in July 2005.

Dr. Jon (Stewart) is a brilliant, iconoclast with a warped, albeit delightful, sense of humor. He is a "Cat" person. In fact, one of his cats will seek the Presidency in 2008.
