Hi Debra,
I’ve had the same problem a couple
of different times since I’ve been banded. I can tell you that
stress is a huge factor in how tight the band feels when eating/drinking.
I wouldn’t consider getting another fill until your stress level is more manageable
at which time you’ll be able to better determine if you’re really
tight from that last fill or if it’s just the stress. I believe the
reason you’re not losing much during this time is the fact that you’re
not able to consume the amount of calories you normally would. Your body
is probably in starvation mode and doesn’t want to let go of the fat.
That’s my two cents and I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong
at all. Take care!

Subject: [drfoxlapband4u] Question
I have a question! Since my last fill August 8th it seems as if I just
have trouble at times getting even liquids to go down. I have lost weight which
I am very pleased with, but it is really starting to worry me. I can't even get
eggs to go down without a fight! Somedays are good and some are bad. I have
noticed if I am under stress I will have a different band each time, it will do
weird things? Is something wrong??? Do I need to have this checked? Do I
need to come see Dr. Fox?? My weight loss the past 2 weeks has halted and I am
scared to death to get another fill to start my weight loss going again. What
do I need to do?
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
