Jodi,
I have enjoyed my band experience until now. I am going tomorrow to
get a fill I have not had a fill since Oct. I was having a difficult
time with my last fill so I went in a saw Dr. Fox he said that he
wanted me to have some taken out due to me not being able to get my
food down and keep it down. I had some of it taken out in Jan or Feb.
I still since then have lost no weight but I am hoping that with this
next fill It will be a good thing. I do hope that your appt goes well
on Thursday. Do you fill more depressed since you have not lost any
weight and how do you cope with that? And since I am trying to be as
honest as possible I am having the worst sweet tooth ever. I am
craving all sorts of sweets doesnt matter what just something to
snack on Im not sure if it is that I can eat more or that most sweet
items are just easier to get down. Do I sound like I am losing my
mind or what!!! I am so excited that I am getting to talk to others
that have had their bands done by Dr. Fox. His enire office is a
hoot. I just couldnt have asked for a better Dr. nor a better staff
of ladies. What are your thoughts on, if I possibly havent lost any
weight due to the fills? Thanks again for responses.

wonderful. I too have been stuck... I have lost 40 or so...but have
not lost anything significant in the last 2 months. I have had
regular fills at the Hurst location...but they only put in .2cc at a
time. I can't tell any difference. They say that is all that my
band will hold without shuting off the flow altoghether. I had a
thought this morning... I think I will go in for my next fill in the
afternoon...when by restriction is much less in general...and perhaps
they can put more in the band. Or...perhaps I need to go to the
Richardson location to see if they can offer something that the Hurst
location doesn't.

with cardio and weights...due to my lack of wt loss I have added a 2
mile walk two or three evenings / week. Still the scales have not
budged. I too am a little discouraged. I have an appt with Dr. Fox
this Thursday, and can't wait to see what he suggests. If working
out 7 - 8 times / week is what is takes... I could of done that
without the band : (
