I am selling hand made crocheted dread bands/ear warmers on eBay.
Please check them out. I am selling them for less than half of what
others sell them for. They are nice and warm. There are some amazing
eye grabbing colors to choose from. They are one size fits all,
machine wash warm, gentle cycle, tumble dry low. Have a great
Day!!!!!!!!!

Once I get more sold on ebay I will just sell them at a flat fee. So
help me get my score up. Thanks...
I also make custom orders starting at 10 dollars. Much Love

What is your opinion of this?
By the way, I am Katrina, age 38, Pagan and while new to dreads, not
knew to the spirituality inside of me. Have been married for 20 years
and have made the decision that I am going to finally be ME for a
change, dress how I want, do my hair how I want, etc. I am tired of
being what others want me to be!
Looking forward to being me!

hey every body;
i am glad i found this site
my dreads have just passed 3 months -
my GF helped me get them started
with the SupaDread Kit from dreadHeadHQ just before Labor Day.
i am east indian so i have thick straight hair
most of my dreads are getting tighter but i am having problems
with lose hair after i wash - its gotten to the point that i am
washing more and more infrequently - every 5 days -- it takes me 2
days to get all the lose hair back in - i use a dental threader to
make sue the dreadballs are stuck in good - then when i re-wash -
losts of lose hairs -- the dreads that stay together look good but
what can i do about the others?
peace, love & nappyness

Hello everyone! I'm new here. My name is Jessie, I'm a 27 y/o SAHM in San
Diego, CA. I just dreaded my hair for the first time last night and I really
like it so far. I wasn't going to use a wax or anything but decided to last
min. because some of the locks aren't holding too well no matter what I do to
them. I have a birthday party for one of my son's friends today and I wanted
them to look good. So, for a temporary fix it's good enough for me. It's just
a hair wax I had bought a long while ago when I was experimenting with different
styles.
I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips on tightening the locks better.
I've found some tips on the net but most of them require you to use some kind of
product. To be honest, I prefer not to use anything on my hair (I think I've
had the same can of hairspray for 5 years now) unless I'm going out somewhere
special or to a club or something. I do plan to use a salt water solution
(trying to find some sea salts...harder than you would think) to help and do
hand rolls and just fiddle with them a bit. But, any advice would be great.
I've heard of wrapping the hair in embroidery thread and I'm curious how to do
this. Also, how do you use a crochet hook or whatnot? I'm having trouble
finding these methods online (well, anything more than a mention).
Also, when can I wash it? I've heard everything from waiting 8 days to waiting
8 weeks. My hair is kind of thin, straight, and gets oily easily.
Any tips or advice you can give that I didn't ask about is also welcome. :D
*hugs*
Jessie
