I recently got dread extensions. My intention was to get the
extensions to satisfy my impatience, and then cut them off and dread
my natural hair when my "roots" were long enough.

Problem is, my hair has grown in about 2 inches since then, and i
want to eventually have natural dreads. some dreads are hanging on
by very thin sections of hair. two have already fallen off.

my question is: what can i do to prevent more from falling off. and
when/how can i start dreading my natural roots?
