Camp PARC, a camp for mentally challenged which is celebrating its 50th
anniversary is beginning a new resident camping program for campers ages 7-15.
We still have openings for campers in this new program. The camp begins on July
19 and concludes on July 22. The camp is held at Laurel Hill State Park in
Somerset, PA. The cost is $100. Each camper will be placed with a counselor
and a peer buddy (a normally developing individual similiar in age which will be
a camper friend). All campers must be ambulatory because the camp has no
