Hello, My name is Tom. I discovered I had Hepatitus C after I had been sober 12 years in Alcoholics Anonymous. As you may well know it was quit a setback for me. I was soon stigmatized by people who were ignorant of what Hep C was. How it is transmitted , how it is treated, and so on. I took the treatment for Hep C for 11 months, one shot a week and 4 pills a day. I finished my treatment end of Dec, 2002. One more test to go end of July and if I am still clear then I am home free. This room is now being set up for those who want more knowledge of Hep C and to give support for those who are taking the treatment and for those who are connected to people with Hep C.
