When I first started dating Robert, some 30 years ago, he had ideas of my hair, which is very blone, looking like Fara Faucett Major (sp?) and didn't realize that when it got even as long as the collar of my blouses, it would start breaking off.  Anyway, he kept reassuring me that if I would just "push" harder, my hair would get longer.  Alas, he found he had to settle for less hair and more brains.
