This is my first post. I've posted some on the Amish Cook's website,
even though I don't have a membership. Please don't think less of me!
This coming weekend is going to be a little crazy, but starting Monday,
I'll be back on track, and I'll begin posting what I eat then. I have
my son in a mommies and babies swim class twice a week and a toddler
gym class once a week so I'll be at the Y a lot. My plan is to work
out before his swim lessons (several of the moms in his swim class do
that) and work out while he is in his gym class (it's touted as the
first away-from-parent experience). I might also work out with my
husband on Saturdays, too (he works out 3 times a week).
Ultimately, I want to lose some weight. I'm still carrying around 20
pounds or so of leftover baby weight (my son is now 2 years old), and I
was overweight by 30 or so pounds when we got pregnant. I also want to
eat healthier and be more active. Hopefully, with these new habits in
place, it will make it easier for me to get pregnant. We had no
trouble with our son, and we even had a miscarriage before him, and
that "pregancy" was no trouble. So, that's my motivation for joining
this group. I hope we are all successful in our goals!
