I'm not even going to really report mine since I had said I would be restarting either Sunday or Monday - but did want to say - don't be too hard on yourself! Holidays are hard for everyone and as for myself - I am really trying not to look at this so much as a diet, but as a lifestyle. So as a lifestyle, I want to be able to participate in normal activities with my family & friends.
For instance, last night, I had 2 small margaritas, a small glass of wine, 2 small glasses of champagne, finger foods, a wonderful baked pear (my only desert that I allowed myself to have) and stayed up until 3 am with my youngest daughter, sil & their 2 couple friends (does that make sense?) Then 1 french toast this morning for breakfast before hitting the road. But, this is not my normal everyday eating & I will not allow it to sidetrack me long term. But you do need to reward yourself at times - whether it is a new blouse, shoes, a movie, whatever. Every 2 weeks, I have a grandchild and while I try not to go overboard, I also do not eat salad while everyone else eats pizza - that is my reward time for being strict with myself for the rest of the time.
Anyway, I am home now & come Monday I will report if I am up or down from my last weight before I left on my trip. I suspect it will be up though. I do weigh myself daily for the most part and that is because I find that if I don't, I tend to get lax. But others might find it too stressful - so please, everyone do what methods work for you, all right?
