I was just wondering if you all knew that there is a surgical CURE for
diabetes that will allow you to control your blood sugars without
insulin, diet or exercise? People go off their insulin immediately
after this procedure and their medical conditions related to elevated
blood glucose resolve, even if they eat sugar. It is a weight loss
surgery called the Duodenal Switch that's done in two parts (1)a
gastric reduction and (2)a small bowel bypass. The intestinal portion
alone is being performed on the non-morbidly-obese in Europe with 98%
efficiency at curing diabetes. Since this is in the investigational
stages, don't count on insurance to pay for it, but it can be gotten
out of the U.S. for around $10-$15K. If you would like more info,
