Right. I have some Mennonite relatives--not Amish, or even Old Order Mennonite; I'm not sure of the name of their precise sect, but I suppose generically they'd be called 'Modern Mennonite.' The point is that they are Type II, but whenever I go to their house the dinner is so heavy with starches and fats that I can hardly eat anything; of course, I take a little of everything that is offered, that's only polite, but my BG soars; usually I try to manage things to that I have to leave before dinner. When they come to me I try to give them lean grilled meat, high fiber vegetables, etc.; they are very polite, but I don't think they like it
