Hi all
I just joined the group.
I am 42 and was diagnosed with type2 in September 2004 with fasting
sugar at 126 and PP sugar at 145. since then I hv been working hard
at controlling sugar levels. I started with 15 mins walk a day and
within a week I was walking 30 mins twice a day. I completely
eliminated white sugar/white bread/potatoe/rice/banana/grapes and
within a month the levels are within normal range. My cholsetrol
dropped fr 4.9 to 4.15 and tryglycerides fr 1.9 to 1.53
Now I started jogging for 20 mins and I found out to be very
effective for reducingsugar levels. 1 hour after jogging, my sugar
levels dropped fr 6.8 to 5.8 (random)
If any one has come across better ways of controlling sugar please
let us know.
Thanks and wish you all good health
