Hi Cathy,
One of the recipes that I have for Tofu is just a regular dip. It's a bit high
in fat, but it's still pretty good overall. Just don't pig out on it too often
;)
It makes about 6 servings. Each serving is 1 fat, 1 protein.
1lb med-firm tofu
4 tbsp tahini (sesame butter)
3 tbsp Bragg's All Purpose Seasoning (or other soy sauce)
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 cloves of garlic crushed.
Mix ingredients in food processor or blender and serve with veggies.
per 100g
9g fat (only 1 g sat)
6g carb (1g fibre)
8g protein
This is good for about 3-4 days in the fridge.
