Diabetes-care eGroup, is committed to engage more partners, be they media/journalists/ groups working on development, human rights, gender or health issues; or individuals (not necessarily medical professionals) committed to public welfare and health. This is would provide a broader focus to bring in different perspectives from diabetes-affected communities.

It links and helps foster a constituency of individuals and organizations working on issues related to health and development, more from a human rights perspective.
