Welcome to the Dystroglycanopathy Congenital Muscular Dystrophy Yahoo! Group. The dystroglycanopathies are a group of diseases that represent a spectrum. Those that present in infancy are classified as congenital muscular dystrophy. Those that present in childhood or adulthood are classified as limb girdle muscular dystrophy.

This is a support group for families dealing with this diagnosis. Please come prepared to share experiences, information and ideas to help one another. Together, we can be a most valuable resource in sharing the knowledge that we have gained! We can also share information from professionals, as to the therapies they are using and what new treatments to consider. It is important to be respectful of other members.
