Hello Jack:
If you read the FAQ on Alkali on my website, you should be able to
verify that soaps which use Mercury Cell alkali can very well
contain mercury. There are numerous sources which verify that
Mercury cell technology leaves some mercury residue in the alkali
product. This alkali is then used in the soapmaking industry (and
other industries) by some soap manufacturers. Please read the FAQ.

My email address on this list is supposed to be "sungoldsoap"
at "hotmail.com". However, for some reason, I think yahoo may still
use an old email address. If your point is that I am the owner of
the website that contains the information about mercury in soap,
that is absolutely true. I don't see, though, why that would lead
you to conclude that I am a spammer. I just don't follow that logic.
Do I suffer from chemical sensitivities? Yes.
Do I run a website? Yes.
Am I a spammer? No.
If you are really interested in proof of mercury in some soap
products, please just ask. I am happy to present the facts. The
logic that this phenomenon can't be true because you were not able
to verify it on your Internet searches does not make it false and
does not make your assertion of "spam" to be true.

Fragrance is the culprit, and the answer is:
http://www.sungoldsoap.com/
> I couldn't find any information on mercury in soap and could find
nothing at all on the subject of murcury in soaps at snopes. This
appears to be spam to our listgroup as the email contact Sungold
Soap is the same as the commercial website, but I would rather have
the listgroup moderator make that determination.
