EU Calls For Investigation
Of Aspartame And Stevia

The European Parliament has adopted resolutions in line with its consistent
drive to make sure that foodstuffs and drinks consumed in the EU are safe. It
has called for an investigation of aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal/Canderel,
E951, Spoonful, Benevia, etc.)In a document from the European Parliament it
says the justification is that "the use of aspartame increases the exposure
to its metabolites methanol/formaldehyde and phenylalanine and is reported to
provoke i.a. headaches, nausea and allergic reactions, especially in the case
of vulnerable persons. Its widespread use should therefore be re-evaluated by
the Commission and the relevant scientific committees, taking into account
all available data and respecting the precautionary principle. A historical
evaluation is required as there seems to be evidence that original studies
did not prove the safety of aspartame."

There is also a call for proposals to improve the labeling of products
containing aspartame and Parliament wants the new directive to be implemented
in the Member States within a year of its entry into force. They are
concerned about a lack of warning labels for pregnant women and children's
health. Rightly so since aspartame is an abortifacient and a teratogen. It
also stimulates prolactin. It is an endocrine disrupting chemical. It changes
the menses triggering infertility. Then if the consumer is off aspartame and
gets pregnant she may lose the baby if she gets back on it. As James Bowen,
M.D., in Aspartame Murders Infants (www.dorway.com) says: "At every point in
the fertility process aspartame destroys, beginning with the gleam in Mom and
Pop's eyes: it ruins female sexual response and induces male sexual
dysfunction. Beyond this aspartame disrupts fetal development by aborting it
or inducing defects. And if a live child is born aspartame may have heinously
damaged the DNA of the baby, cursing future generations." The manufacturer
and the FDA have steadfastly refused to put a warning on aspartame even
though they have full knowledge of how it can destroy the fetus or trigger
birth defects. Louis Elsas, M.D., Pediatric Prof, Emory University, genetics
testified before Congress on this issue and this is on web along with H. J.
Roberts, M.D., position paper admitting that even a man consuming aspartame
at conception can cause birth defects in his own child.

Why does the FDA refuse this warning? The law requires that an additive be
inert or non-reactive. Admitting that aspartame can destroy the fetus or
inflict horrendous birth defects show that aspartame is not an additive but a
deadly neurotoxic drug. It interacts with just about every drug used to treat
the problems it causes, and probably if investigated which show that no drug
is safe on the market today because when you add a chemical poison it
interacts. The allergies mentioned by Parliament are probably in reality
related to the fact that aspartame is a chemical hypersensitization agent so
those who have used this deadly toxin have interactions with vaccines,
toxins, GM foods and other unsafe so-called additives like sucralose
(Splenda) which has a chlorinated base like DDT and can cause auto-immune
disease and acesulfame potassium which triggered cancer and leukemia in
original studies. Parliament has called for a review of sucralose and
aspartame-acesulfame salt use within three years as well. Russell Blaylock,
M.D., author of Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills, www.amazon.com says in a
lecture on www.dorway.com that the reactions to aspartame are not allergic
but toxic like arsenic and cyanide. In his new book Health and Nutrition
Secrets To Save Your Life he says all it takes is one diet drink to cause
significant DNA damage. There is a chapter on bioterrorism that everyone
needs to read. Dr. Blaylock is a neurosurgeon and specialist in bioterrorism.

The famed John Olney, M.D., who founded the field of neuroscience called
excitotoxicity, and who did the studies on aspartic acid (40% of aspartame),
testified to the Board of Inquiry of the FDA and explained what would happen
to the brains of our children if aspartame was approved, and the Board agreed
saying not to approve aspartame. This report and the entire Board of Inquiry

Understand there is no reason for aspartame to be on the market. It may be
sweet but it is a sweet poison. In Nutrapoison by Alex Constantine on
www.dorway.com he states that aspartame was listed with the pentagon in an
inventory of prospective biochemical warfare weapons submitted to Congress.
It also has a synergistic effect with such things as MSG, another excitotoxin
(www.truthinlabeling.org), fluoride and RBGH, for starters. It is not a diet
product but a drug that makes you crave carbohydrates so you gain weight. See
protest of the National Soft Drink Association on DORway. This is part of the
Congressional Record and shows you the pop companies knew aspartame was a
poison before they put it in pop and admitted it broke down at 86 degrees and
quoted the law that stated it is a crime to put anything in food that
decomposes or adulterates the drink.

Aspartame Disease has been declared a global plague by world expert H. J.
Roberts, M.D., F.A.C.P.,F.C.C.P., who has treated aspartame victims in the
trenches of medical practice for 20 years. In the l980's a medical
publication selected Dr. Roberts as the best doctor in the US. He is listed
in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in The World and Who's Who in Science and
Engineering. As a diabetic specialist he realized aspartame was a toxin when
his diabetic patients began going blind, becoming confused and blood sugar
would not stay under control. He says in a position paper on aspartame and
hypoglycemia that aspartame can precipitate diabetes and even interacts with
insulin. No doubt that aspartame is the cause of the epidemics of diabetes
and obesity.

Dr. H. J. Roberts has now provided to the world a medical text on this plague
titled Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, www.sunsentpress.com or
www.aspartameispoison.com to see the cover. It was written for consumers as
well as physicians. Because the FDA and the manufacturer has lied to the
public it has tied the hands of physicians who do not correlate the vast
epidemics aspartame has triggered with the toxin and cannot treat the patient
without the facts. There is a chapter on drug interaction, detoxification and
tips for the physician. The entire story of how a chemical poison was
marketed for human consumption is in this medical text. And there is a
chapter on all the epidemics and symptoms, giving the mechanism by which
aspartame triggers these problems. On this web site are also many other
excellent books on aspartame.

There are some things that have been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt over
the past 20 years and that is that aspartame triggers brain tumors (breaks
down to diketopiperazine a brain tumor agent) that triggered brain tumors in
original studies and cases come in to Mission Possible consistently, and DNA
damage. This alone shows you aspartame is not inert and should be banned from
the planet immediately. It destroys the central nervous system and mimics MS
and causes Lou Gehrig symptoms. The FDA lists on their report 92 documented
symptoms triggered by this toxin. This brings us to the Gulf War Illness. The
government has been told repeatedly what aspartame causes, and that it breaks
down at 86 degrees. Vets say that diet drinks stayed on pallets for as long
as 8 weeks at a time and the troops drank them all day long. Their problems
are identical to Aspartame Disease and match the FDA report of symptoms
triggered by this toxin. A study on Desert Storm Syndrome showed Lou Gehrig
symptoms and the payments to the troops have been reimplemented. And haven't
we said that all along. James Bowen, M.D., is a victim himself and suffers
with Lou Gehrigs symptoms. He was never in the Persian Gulf but practiced in
the dessert drinking gallons of Diet Koolaide laced with aspartame. He wrote
the FDA (on web under experts) and told them aspartame was mass poisoning of
the American public and more than 70+ countries of the world. The FDA sent
out an agent who was upset with Dr. Bowen that he wrote the paper titled
labeling, and did not want to accept records on another 30 cases.

If you read the secret trade information volunteered in congressional
hearings and on on web you will note that Searle admitted in the last
paragraph that they had to consider almost complete conversion to DKP, (the
brain tumor agent) and if they told the FDA they wouldn't approve it. Be
assured this is premeditated murder. Searle did studies in South America and
never published them, sacrificing people in poor villages. Some died, some
developed brain tumors and others seizures. These studies showed that
aspartame destroys the brain and central nervous system and even hardens the
synovial fluids causing agonizing joint pain, many times diagnosed as
fibromyalgia. The affidavit of the translator is on web.

Aspartame is the biggest hazard there is to Aviation. It is a seizure
triggering drug that interacts with anti-seizure medication. So many pilots
have lost not only their health but their occupation. Five American Airline
pilots who were heavy users of aspartame have perished, one in flight. Two
have had strokes, one just recently. The FAA here says the FDA approved it,
there is nothing we can do. That's a cop out, they could warn the pilots.
Seizures have been established beyond a shadow of a doubt. See the RAO on web
which was pivotal in the approval aspartame, a 52 week oral toxicity study
where 7 infant moneys were fed aspartame, 5 had grand mal seizures and 1
died. The FDA report list 4 types of seizures triggered by this neurotoxin.
Could it get worse. Yes, aspartame damages the cardiac system and causes
sudden death. It triggers an irregular heart rhythm and interacts with all
cardiac medication.

My special note to Parliament: My congratulations for your caring enough and
for your courage in taking on the aspartame issue. How was it approved in
Europe? Searle knew in order to rubberstamp it around the world they had to
get it approved in another country, and if Europe found out about the FDA
wanting them indicted for fraud it would not happen. So they made a business
deal with a Professor Paul Turner in the Regulatory Agency (Food Standards)
in England. There was a big blow out by Parliament when they found out it was
approved but it wasn't rescinded. The story was in the Guardian.

Remember there is a war going on and the troops are already sick again
according to a new article. I see them chewing gum and wonder if it has
aspartame, in this fashion going directly to the brain. They are using breath
mints and I'm checking to see if the pop companies again sent diet drinks
knowing what happened last time. And all this post stress reported remember
that aspartame also depletes serotonin because of the 50% phenylalanine which
as an isolate is neurotoxic, lowers the seizure threshold and serotonin. This
triggers manic depression, anxiety, panic attacks, hallucinations, suicidal
tendencies, insomnia, etc. One aspartame brain tumor victim told me when she
was in a support group in San Antonio there were 70 vets with brain tumors.
And while there are toxins in Iraq understand that aspartame destroys the
immune system and many might not be affected except for aspartame. Dr.
Blaylock wrote a brochure on how to survive bioterrorism. He told me
consumers could not sustain chemical warfare because excitotoxins have
destroyed the immune system. And, of course, aspartame interacts with all
toxins.

I've lectured in the UK twice and seen the diseases and symptoms that mirrors
those in the US from aspartame. This last summer I was locked up by
Immigration for 3 1/2 hours with their wanting to know if they allowed me in
England how many people would find out about the dangers of aspartame. They
confiscated all books on aspartame and materials although in the end they
gave them back. Who was responsible for this? Industry is very powerful, I
ask that you now be affected by their propaganda and their power.

You have the ability to undo what was done by this business deal with Paul
Turner, now deceased. You can ban it from Europe and the result would be like
dominos around the world. Don't let one more baby die before it breathes the
breath of life! I am happy to address Parliament if you so desire and answer
any questions. All the records of the FDA showing aspartame to be a poison
are available in England for any members of Parliament wanting to see them.

Aspartame Detoxification Centers to help victims. The formaldehyde
accumulates in the cells and damages DNA with most toxicity in the liver.
This is pre-embalming as mentioned in the medical text on the global plague
of Aspartame Disease.

Do not fail to read the UPI investigation on web and find out just who called
in their markers to get a deadly chemical poison marketed for human
consumption. You'll be surprised. Aspartame is addictive and methanol is
classified as a narcotic. And when industry lies and tells you there is just
a little bit of methanol remember in molecular chemistry the formulation is
one molecule of aspartic acid to one molecule of methanol to one molecule of
phenylalanine.

I flew to Belgium and gave these FDA records the EU had never seen to
Miguel-Angel.Granero-Rosell and Peter Wagstaffe. I knew they would side with
industry but told them repeatedly that they had to care. Obviously they
didn't when they put out their report leaving out the most damning reports
like those by Dr. Roberts. I showed them the medical text about the size of
the New York phone directory. I showed them the flawed studies and what
industry did like when Monsanto tried to show aspartame doesn't trigger
seizures. In the Rowan study they gave 16 of the 18 subjects anti-seizure
medication and didn't tell anybody and only gave them one capsule of
aspartame for a one day study, tantamount to smelling the bottle. But they
sided with industry and we have a 59 page report in rebuttal showing what
they did.

I asked them why they outlawed Stevia and was told there were no studies
showing safety. Stevia is a herb which has been used in Brazil for thousands
of years, especially to aid diabetics because it helps in the metabolism of
sugar. I told them we have about 500 studies showing safety where did they
want them sent. No answer. They didn't want them available. While this is
just hearsay when Stevia was outlawed in Europe and it is the salvation of
the diabetics, I did receive a call from England. He said he worked with
Monsanto and they were responsible. Read Larry Hagman's comment on web and
how as a diabetic it saved his life.

Aspartame was marketed by Searle and then sold to Monsanto in l985. It has
now been sold to Ajinomoto,Childs in Boston, Merisant (investment firm,
Monsanto managers) and Michael Dell's investment firm. We are now taking case
histories for class action starting with the brain tumors, seizures, eye
deterioration and blindness.

I filed a Citizens Petition with the FDA for recall before I left America for
England. The law requires six months to answer. It has now been ten months.
It was based on the fact that their records show aspartame to be a chemical
poison and they lie to the public about safety. Their own FDA toxicologist
told Congress that aspartame violated the Delaney Amendment because without a
shadow of a doubt it can cause brain tumors and brain cancer. Delaney
Amendment forbid putting anything in food you know will cause cancer. It also
triggered mammary, uterine, ovarian, thyroid, pancreatic and testicular
tumors. His last words to Congress were "And if the FDA violates its own law
who is left to protect the public?" This is the reason for Mission Possible
Intl, a global unpaid volunteer force warning the world off this poison. Many
operations in the UK. He also mentioned that because of the brain tumors that
an allowable daily dose should not be able to be set. As it was it was set
for rats and not humans. You cannot set an ADI of safety of poison for
humans. The other FDA toxicologist, Dr. Jacqueline Verrett, told Congress
that all studies were built on a foundation of sand and should be thrown out.
Be sure you read my letter to Ajinomoto on web who have lie to the public and
what really happened during approval. They refuse to answer the letter.

Europe can be heros to the world, and I pray to the Almighty Sovereign of the
universe, Jehovah God for his holy spirit to help in this endeavor to save
the planet from this deadly poison, aspartame.
