You may or may not be able to safely get stains out. Safely is the operative word. It is the only thing that really matters. Your health is your wealth. Practically every commercial household cleaner or stain remover contains undisclosed chemicals. They for the most part are not safe for the chemically sensitized (and probably not safe for anyone). You don't have any way to sort this out so just leave them on the store shelf.
Fash action to soak a stain is one of the most important responses. I wash out with plain water as soon as I notice it unless the stain is fat soluble. Then I use a bit of butter to dissolve it first. I keep a small well-worn soft toothbrush at hand for these and other cleaning jobs. I use Arm and Hammer GREEN laundry detergent for clothes washing and add washing soda to the wash cycle. I hang my washing on the outside line in the sun to dry. For stains that remain after washing, it may take two or more days in the sun, occassioanlly a whole week, for the UV to help stains vanish. Some stains respond to lemon juice or vinegar. If it's really important, and hasn't worked completely, I may use a drop or two of hydrogen peroxide applied with a Q tip just to the very stain and let it sit for several minutes, then rinse well.
(I also use a tiny amount of wetted Arm and Hammer GREEN laundry detergent for my shampoo, rinsing in straight vinegar followed by water.)
Those of us prone to get stains from cooking and/or eating can use a colorful print apron or a "scrubs" top. This saves a lot of effort.
I use Bonami for hand washing and the non-dishwasher part of dish/pan washing. Bonami does most of my household cleanup jobs beautifully. A green plastic scrubber is also essential.
In these ways I avoid fumes, exposure from undisclosed chemicals, and save LOTS of money and storage space.
Others on this list also have ways they have coped with these issues.

I should not be allowed to run around loose until I graduate MCS training academy. The big thing is to THINK before I do anything. I put the big bottle of Spic and Span liquid in the shed months ago, figuring I could use it to clean my patio tables or something else outside. I could breathe in fumes while using, so that, too, is going to the dumpster. What do you think of that non-chlorine bleach for linens? Now that I don't have the Woolite, I don't know what to use for occasional hand washing of blouses, etc. Any ideas?
