The California Department of Food and Agriculture is having a
worksession with the City of Berkeley tomorrow, January 15, at 5:30pm
(see details below), about the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM) which is
considered an invasive species. Its appearance is considered an
"emergency" by the Agricultural Industry, deeming toxic aerial
spraying of people's neighborhoods "necessary".
There are rumors that the CDFA is moving to spray the East Bay, SF,
Marin, and Santa Clara, this year. The aerial spraying of pheremones
and its "inert" ingredients over Santa Cruz and Monterey have made

permit or variance, the issues and evidence will be limited to those
raised by you or someone else, orally or in writing, at a public
hearing or prior to the close of the last public hearing on the project.
