Having problems with message search?
Pam, you can change the settings to that new members are always automatically moderated. When they make a few post I take them off moderated manually as you know how to do. To set new member only moderation:
From your group homepage
Click on "managment" on the bottom of the menu at the left.
Under the heading "group settings" click on "messages"
Posting and Archives (Edit) Cick on the edit button here.
Under "moderation" in the middle, click on "new members".
Click "save changes".
All new members will be automatically moderated now. When you want to take moderation off go to the members list, select the member, edit, and put them on "use group settings" rather than "moderated" which was automatically set when the member joined.
