Hi,
My daughter was diagnoised with depression when she was in college.
She was prescribed medication. She joined the army after college
and she informed me that she had gotten off the medication.

A few months ago she was sent to Alaska. She called me in the middle
of the night and she sounded suicidal. I called 911 in Alaska because
I was concerned for her safety. She was taken to the hospital and
later was precribed antidepressants. She admitted that she wanted to
commit suicide. Now the military will be discharging her.

Presently, she is not talking to me. She stated to her sister that I
should have given her medical help for her condition when she was at
a young age.

My question is why does she feel this way towards me? When she was
in high school I knew she had a problem and I offered to take her to
a therapist and she refused because we live in a small community.

I would appreciate any help with my situation. I do want my daughter
to be in good terms with me. Thank you.
