Denver-Area Down Syndrome Connections

This is a site for those in Denver and areas surrounding Denver who know someone or who is someone diagnosed with Down syndrome.

This group is directed at parents of children with Down syndrome but is also for grandparents, siblings and friends of people with Down syndrome. Professionals who work with children or adults with Down syndrome are also welcome. We are here to support everyone -- parents who find out prenatally they are having a child with Down syndrome; parents of infants, toddlers and school-aged children with Down Syndrome; and for people who have questions or concerns involving adults with Down syndrome.

The purpose of this group is to connect individuals familiar with Down syndrome in Denver and surrounding areas to maximize support and resources. Anyone interested in joining this group must be approved by a moderator before gaining access. This is to help ensure that only members have access to the information discussed in this group.
