Welcome to the group. You will find a great deal of support here. You will get
through it. The real colour growing out can be flat, but in my case it was to
do with wearing the wrong colours. Now I wear the right colours for my real
skin, my real hair and my real eyes. Before I was dressing to go with my
coloured hair. And I could never be without makeup because my haircolour was
wrong for my natural skin.

I try to enhance my white hair as much as possible with the colours I wear.

I had a couple of very white highlights put in the top front, as the dyed brown
hair was growing out. But it was very subtle. I did one round of lowlights and
regretted it for months as it put me back where I started.
