Shampoos for silver hair   Message List

I bought two new purple shampoos recently. One by Paul Mitchell called Platinum
Blonde that says it's for silver and white hair (~$13 at a beauty supply store)
and one by Pantene called Silver Expressions (~$5-6 at CVS). There is no
conditioner in that Paul Mitchell line, but Silver Expressions does make one.
They were out at CVS so I wasn't able to get any conditioner.

I like both shampoos just fine. They both have better (to me) fragrances than
the Joico silver shampoo I've been using, but I'm way picky about scents. I
don't know that I can objectively say using made-for-silver-hair
shampoo/conditioner makes my gray any shinier, but on the off-chance it does,
I'm going to continue to use it! ---- Anita
