Oh, Random. Yay for being brave! How do you like it? How short is it? Bottom of your ears? I am getting heartily tired of the 2-toned look, too, though mine isn't as dramatic as yours since I've still got lots of charcoal shades in with the lighter ones.
I'm holding out for June/July-ish, too, to get the colored top layer off and hope my calculations are correct that the grown out part will be to the bottom of my ears by then. --- Anita

On impulse, I called the salon Friday morning to see if I could get in. I put it in fate's hands--if yes, I'd get a major chop--well...major for me who is scared to death of short hair.
Fate said yes. Got in at lunch and had almost all of the red cut off. There is still a hint of red in the very ends where some individual strands didn't grow as fast as the rest of my hair, but the solid block of color is all gone and I'd say the stragglers will be gone in a few months time.
So Roe....reserve my spot in the Winner's Circle....I'll be ready in July or so at the latest.
