Dear Colleagues:
Re: Educational program VNS Jan. 22 Register Now!
Dear Colleagues:
Happy New Year from the WPS Committee on Continuing Medical Education.
We are starting the New Year with an outstanding program on using Vagus
Nerve Stimulation for the treatment of depression. Please join us Monday
January 22, 2007, 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy 5333 Wisconsin Ave, NW/ Washington, DC. Our speaker is Mitchell Kling, MD from NIMH and our WPS
colleague.
As you doubtless know, VNS has within the last year been approved by
the FDA for treatment of depression. This 1.5 hour educational program will
give us an overview of the procedure, the effectiveness of VNS on depression
and a review of side effects.
Our format, following your favorable evaluation notes from our December
14 program calls for hors d'ouevres and cocktails beginning at 6:30
followed by Dr. Kling's presentation and a question and answer period. We will
adjourn by 9:00.
Please use the form below to register for this event. If you wish to
pay by credit card, a form is attached that you may include with your
registration. I look forward to seeing you on January 22 for this important program.
Just one more example of WPS working for you to bring you information on the
latest developments in the science of medicine.
This program is sponsored in part by an educational grant from Cyberonics.
