Registration is now open for the National Physicians Alliance Fourth Annual Conference, to be held March 14-16, 2009 in Washington DC.  This year’s theme will be “Honoring the Oath: A Call to Action”

The National Physicians Alliance is determined to keep health reform at the top of the political agenda.  Join this diverse physician community as we work to improve health and well-being and to ensure equitable, high-quality health care for all.  This year’s conference will feature presentations on:

• the current state of health care reform
• the public health implications of violence
• the AIDS crisis
• the civic engagement of physicians
• ethical issues in the delivery of health care
•  

And don't miss our lobby day!  On the closing day of the conference we will offer trainings on how to speak effectively with local, state, and federal representatives about issues in health--then we will head to Capitol Hill for direct meetings.  If you have never attended a lobby day before, now is the ideal time to get involved.
