| We are still looking for applicants to fill our Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship program in July 2009! Our program is truly a multidisciplinary experience with geriatric medicine and family practice involvement in clinics, nursing homes, home visits and research. We are part of the University of Virginia program in Roanoke. The latest exciting development here is the planning of one of the newest medical schools in our country. Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is under construction just a block from our hospital and will open its doors in 2010. We also have the second largest hospital in the state. Opportunities for unique clinical experiences, board prep and research- all in a very beautiful and friendly environment are plentiful.
