The WPS is sponsoring a workshop on Tuesday at 10 on the role of the
district branch in emergency planning. Dr. Catherine May, Dr. Stephen
Peterson, Dr. Erminia Scarcella and Dr. Enrico Suardi are presenting, and
Dr. Julia Frank and Dr. Cheryl Person (from MPS) are co chairs

Dr. Catherine May and Dr. Julia Frank are doing a workshop with two
outside contributors about Integration of Psychiatry and Primary Care  in
Post Disaster services, based on Dr. May's frequent trips to
Mississippi since Hurricane Katrina. This will be Wednesday at 11.

Dr. Julia Frank and Dr. Subdoh Dave from England are presenting a
workshop on Thursday at 9-10:30 on New Uses of Standardized Patients in
Psychiatric Education.

Dr. Frank is a discussant in a symposium on demoralization on Wednesday
afternoon (symposium lead by Dr.John Defiguereido)

Dr. Frank and Dr. May also have a poster on the need for psychiatric
care in disaster related primary care.
