Saint Elizabeths Hospital, our public psychiatric hospital is recruiting psychiatrists. We have both immediate openings and openings in July 2008 for board eligible and board certified psychiatrists. The hospital serves adults and has both acute admission units and longer term units.

Saint Elizabeths Hospital is a major teaching hospital in Washington.We have our own residency program with 32 residents and we partner with Georgetown University to sponsor a Forensic Fellowship.

Medical students from Georgetown, George Washington, Howard University,The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and Ross medical college rotate through our hospital.

A new state-of-art- hospital is under construction which will be completed in July 2009.

There is no required night call. Salaries and benefits are competitive.
