Please join us for the 2007 Washington Psychiatric Society Awards Banquet on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m., at the Cosmos Club, a true Washington DC icon. The Cosmos Club is located at 2121 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20008 (http://www.cosmos-club.org).
This evening will prove to be memorable! The WPS Resident of the Year will be honored in addition to the Psychiatrist of the Year.
This year, the first 20 psychiatry residents to RSVP will be free of charge. After the first 20 RSVPs to the event, the cost for the event will be $50 dollars. Please RSVP at pat@... immediately for this event to take advantage of this WPS courtesy.
A little about the Cosmos Club:
The Cosmos Club is a private social club, incorporated in Washington, D.C. in 1878 by men distinguished in science, literature and the arts. In June, 1988 the Club voted to welcome women as members.
Since its founding, the Club has elected as members individuals in virtually every profession that has anything to do with scholarship, creative genius or intellectual distinction.
